You can delete your KiteCrew account yourself, at any time, in under a minute. Delete my account now →
From the app
- Open kitecrew.app and sign in (the link above takes you straight there).
- Go to your Profile and tap Delete my account and data, at the bottom.
- Type DELETE and confirm. You will get an email once it is done.
By email
If you can no longer sign in, write to hello@kitecrew.app from the address you registered with, asking us to delete your account. We do it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What is deleted
- Your account, profile and profile photo
- Your messages, spot alerts and reviews
- Your place in the "who's in" list of trips and ideas
What is kept
- Records of paid trips — anonymised, with no name or contact details, for up to 10 years, because accounting law requires it.
- Anonymous poll answers — without any link to you.
You cannot delete the account while you hold, or organise, a paid spot on a trip that has not started yet: cancel it first, so nobody loses money.
